How to use AVOS

Quick Start Guide

  • AVOS come with 3 insert sets: Levels 1, 2, and 3 (Level 3 is the highest intensity).
  • Start with Level 1 or 2, especially if you have flat or sensitive feet.
  • Wear them for just 5–15 minutes to feel the benefit — no need to wear them all day.
  • Inserts may feel firm at first, but they soften with use. Many users find their sensitivity decreases as their feet adapt and flexibility improves.
  • It’s common to switch between insert sizes day to day, depending on how your feet feel.
  • On the go? You can pop the inserts out without taking off your slides — just toss them in your pocket.
  • Target different areas: Slide your foot slightly backward to position the insert beneath the ball of the foot.
  • Incorporating foot strengthening and mobility exercises supports long-term results.
  • Remember: AVOS aren’t regular shoes — they’re a therapy tool designed for recovery and mobility. Use mindfully.

Therapy Mode:

(inserts 1, 2 or 3 installed)

  • Locate the small bag containing inserts.
  • We recommend starting with the lowest height inserts (1).
  • Squeeze into the empty cavity.
  • Tighten or loosen Velcro strap to adjust fit.
  • Wear for 5 - 15 minutes.
  • The foam starts firm and gradually softens to the feel of a tennis ball, ensuring long-term comfort. Start with the smallest inserts for an easier adjustment.

Designed for casual use on flat surfaces.

Flat Mode:

(flat inserts installed)

  • Pop the raised inserts out when therapy time has
    elapsed to prevent over-use.
  • Replace with flat inserts to wear as normal slides.
This helps preserve the integrity of your slides.

Everyone Is Different

  • We always recommend 5-15 minutes of use because that will be the greatest benefit for most cases.
  • Consult with a physician for best results.

Do what feels right

  • AVOS come with 3 insert size options so
you can control the level of pressure.
  • Start with the lowest insert (1) and wear
for a full 15 min to determine whether or
not you should add more pressure.
  • Higher pressure is not necessarily better.

Hit the spot

  • The insert location is toward the heel intentionally to target the plantar fascia.
  • You can also hit different spots by adjusting your foot to stretch toes, massage other sore spots, etc.
  • We recommend sliding your foot back to target the ball of the foot when standing In place.

Stay flexible

  • You may notice a significant increase in flexibility and improvement within the first few weeks of use. After that, AVOS serve as a tool for easy routine maintenance.
  • If you're using them for injury recovery, consult a physician first.
